Today is February 1st, so we leave in about 40 days which seems crazy! So. Far, I've talked to other people that have gone on the same trip and one of my biggest fears is packing. Almost three months means a lot of clothes, and for anyone that knows me, you'll know I have no shortage of "stuff". This will definitely be an interesting challenge to see if I can figure out a select few items to bring along and manage to keep room for everything I get while I'm in Europe. Another thing I'm worried about is leaving Marley. Marley is my Lhasa Apso puppy and I'm going to miss him like crazy while I'm gone! My friend Sara is watching him while I'm gone, so I know he'll be okay, but it will be rough not seeing him. Speaking of friends, I'm going to miss all of them like crazy too! Thank God for Skype. Now that I have all those negatives out of the way, let me just say that I'm SO excited for this trip! Traveling is one of my favorite things and I can't wait to experience Europe. I've been dreaming about studying abroad since I was in high school, so I'm just ecstatic that it's finally happening. I spend so much of time daydreaming about being in the Czech, I just can't wait to actually be there because it all feels surreal right now. Anyway, I just wanted to get my blog underway and I think this is probably good for the first night, but stay tuned for all of my adventures!
